Igor Perko is an assistant professor at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Slovenia, EU. He received his Ph.D. in 2010, with the thesis, “Intelligent agents in management information systems”. His research interests include business intelligence systems, predictive analytics, planning and development of information systems and information support, and business cooperative systems. He connects the use of intelligent agents, knowledge management structures, data sharing, and data mining technologies to provide business intelligence systems for the support of business processes. He is the author of multiple professional and scientific papers but is also actively involved in business ICT development. Lately he is involved in the business data cloud and business data sharing projects.
